We spent a great week in Bubion at Casa de la Luz last June. The apartment was clean, tidy and well furnished and it was very convenient for the shops and restaurants. The owners, Janny and Manuel live up the road and were great hosts, making us most welcome and entertaining us. They gave us lots of information about the walks and the region and the best restaurants and helped us to make the most of our holiday. Bubión is a small quiet village with few tourists and has some nice restaurants and interesting weaving shops. The walks in the area are varied and interesting and generally it was not too hot because of the altitude; a highlight of our stay was a trip to the top of Mulhacen and then a walk back to the neighbouring village. We would not hesitate to recommend Casa de la Luz
